Mrs. O’Dwyer is co-founder, operator and direct supervisor of Foundations Therapy, Inc. She is a Florida-licensed speech-language pathologist and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Mrs. O’Dwyer is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Florida certified teacher who has over 15 years experience working with children with autism and related disabilities. To support functional communication and skill development, she provides services in preschools, general and special education classrooms, family homes and community settings. Mrs. O’Dwyer has attended trainings including PECS, TEACCH and the Annual Southeast Augmentative Communication Conference, and frequently attends local workshops and conferences. Mrs. O’Dwyer is a member of the Association for Positive Behavior Support (APBS), American Speech-Hearing Association (ASHA), Florida Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (FLASHA) and Florida Association for Behavior Analysis (FABA). She participated in research at Nova Southeastern University, presented at the Florida Applied Behavior Analysis convention and presented a poster session at the FLASHA convention.
