Executive Directors
Ivy Kaplan, M.Ed., BCBA
Mrs. Kaplan is co-founder, operator and direct supervisor of Foundations Therapy, Inc. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has worked with students with autism and related disabilities for the past 15 years. She has completed the Autism Endorsement; in addition, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, a Master’s degree in Reading and is a State of Florida Certified Teacher. Mrs. Kaplan has taught in a self-contained classroom for children with autism, was an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Specialist and was an Autism Coach who mentored teachers and paraprofessionals. She has attended extensive trainings including TEACCH and PECS, and continues to attend local, state and national conferences to maintain education on the most current research for children and adults with autism. Mrs. Kaplan provides trainings to families, school teams, and paraprofessionals; in addition, she is a supervisor to students who are seeking their Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis. Mrs. Kaplan was a member of a research team at Nova Southeastern University studying best practices for children with autism. She holds memberships in the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis, Autism Society of America, and the Council for Exceptional Children.
Laura O'Dwyer, M.S. CCC-SLP, BCBA
Mrs. O'Dwyer is co-founder, operator and direct supervisor of Foundations Therapy, Inc. She is a Florida-licensed speech-language pathologist and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Mrs. O'Dwyer is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Florida certified teacher who has over 15 years experience working with children with autism and related disabilities. To support functional communication and skill development, she provides services in preschools, general and special education classrooms, family homes and community settings. Mrs. O'Dwyer has attended trainings including PECS, TEACCH and the Annual Southeast Augmentative Communication Conference, and frequently attends local workshops and conferences. Mrs. O'Dwyer is a member of the Association for Positive Behavior Support (APBS), American Speech-Hearing Association (ASHA), Florida Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (FLASHA) and Florida Association for Behavior Analysis (FABA). She participated in research at Nova Southeastern University, presented at the Florida Applied Behavior Analysis convention and presented a poster session at the FLASHA convention.

Adria S., M.S., BCBA
Adria is Lead Supervisor at Foundations Therapy, Inc. who evaluates, develops programs, provides on-going program updates, and conducts family and therapist training. Adria is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Oriente in Cuba and her Master of Science degree in Counseling with the Concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University. Adria has more than ten years of experience working with children of varying ages and their families. For the past six years Adria has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis providing services to children with autism and related disabilities in a variety of settings. As an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist, she works with families of young children, collaborating with other professionals in a team to provide parent training on early intervention procedures. Adria also provides supervision to students who are seeking their Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Andrea L., M.A., BCBA
Andrea is a Foundations Therapy, Inc. supervisor and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). As a BCBA, Andrea evaluates and develops client programs, provides ongoing program updates, and conducts family and therapist training.
Andrea completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile in 2018. In 2022, she received a Master of Arts degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. Andrea began her work in Applied Behavior Analysis as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), providing services to children with autism and related disabilities in 2019, and as an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist (ITDS) in 2021. As an ITDS, Andrea empowers families to use behavior-analytic principles to promote their child’s development.
Daniella C., M.S., BCBA
Daniella is a Supervisor at Foundations Therapy, Inc. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Daniella evaluates, develops programs, provides on-going protocol modifications and family and therapist training. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Continuing her education, Daniella earned her Master of Science Degree in Counseling with a concentration in Applied Behavioral Analysis from Nova Southeastern University. Her passion for helping others exceeds the bounds of ABA, as she has extensive experience as a bilingual teacher who worked within an integrated classroom of typically developing children and children with Autism or other related developmental disorders.
Daniela C., M.S., BCaBA
Daniela is a supervisor at Foundations Therapy, Inc. and a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). As a BCaBA, Daniela evaluates and develops client programs, provides on-going program updates, and conducts family and therapist training. Daniela completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Florida International University in 2020 and in 2022, she received a Master of Science degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Behavior Analysis. Daniela began her work in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis providing services to children with autism and related disabilities as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in 2020, and as an Infant and Toddler Developmental Specialists (ITDS) in 2022. As an ITDS, Daniela empowers families to use behavior analytic principles to promote their child’s development.
Gabby T., M.S., BCBA
Gabby is a supervisor at Foundations Therapy Inc. and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who evaluates, provides constant support and training to therapists and caregivers, and develops and provides ongoing program updates. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology at the University of Central Florida and her Masters of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis at Purdue University Global. Gabby has been working with children of ages ranging from 2-10 years with autism and development delays possibly related to autism for three years in different settings. Gabby is also an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist evaluator and provider. As an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist, Gabby provides support using ABA strategies to families of young children with Autism or with delays possibly related to autism in the Early Intervention Program.
Katelyn P., B.S. BCaBA
Katelyn is a supervisor and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) at Foundations Therapy, Inc. Katelyn earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida in 2018, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology. After graduating, Katelyn began working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with Foundations, and after a year, began also working as an Infant and Toddler Developmental Specialist (ITDS). Katelyn provides services in the form of evaluating and developing client programs specific to the child and their needs and conducts regular caregiver and therapist trainings. Throughout all of these roles, Katelyn has found providing support for both children with autism and their families to be an exceptionally rewarding experience that empowers not only the children to learn, but the caregivers of the children to learn, as well. Katelyn will be graduating with a master’s degree in counseling with dual concentrations in Applied Behavior Analysis and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in the summer of 2024.
Lys C., M.A., BCBA
Lys is a supervisor at Foundations Therapy, Inc. and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). As a supervisor at Foundations, Lys evaluates and develops client programs, provides on-going program updates, and conducts family and therapist training. Lys completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University in 2018. In 2021, she received a Master of Arts degree in Exceptional Student Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis, from the University of West Florida. Lys began her work in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis providing services to children with autism and related disabilities as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in 2018, and as an Infant and Toddler Developmental Specialists (ITDS) in 2019. As an ITDS, Lys empowers families to use behavior analytic principles to promote their child’s development.
Nicole R., M.S., BCBA
Nicole is a supervisor at Foundations Therapy, Inc. and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. As a supervisor, Nicole evaluates and develops client programs, provides on-going program updates, and conducts family and therapist training. In pursuit of her career, Nicole earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Florida State University with a minor in Child Development. She then succeeded to the University of West Florida where she received her Master of Arts degree in Exceptional Student Education, with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. Nicole continued her education further at Nova Southeastern University where she received her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Exemplifying her passion, Nicole has over six years of experience working with children with Autism and related disabilities, as well as, their families. Among other attributes, Nicole is also an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist evaluator and provider. As an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist, Nicole works with children under the age of three with Autism or suspect of Autism in the early intervention program. Through this program, Nicole provides family support and parent training through demonstration and implementation of ABA strategies specific to the child’s needs.
